# Factsplat

> Factsplat is a collaborative knowledge management platform where people organize links, notes, files, and tools into visual workspaces called "splats." Built for teams, freelancers, students, families, sports clubs, startups — and AI agents working alongside them — who need a shared digital home base.

Factsplat replaces scattered bookmarks, docs, and shared drives with a single organized workspace. Each splat is a canvas containing "droplets" — modular content blocks that can be rearranged, shared, and collaborated on in real time.

## Homepage (factsplat.com/welcome)

The homepage tells the product story in one simple workspace where AI does the organizing: you throw things in, ask for what you need in plain words, and the page lays itself out around you. Four moves carry the story: throw things in, ask in plain words, it lays itself out, everyone finds it. The built-in AI assistant is available on all paid plans except org Community. External AI assistants connect through AI agents (beta): each agent has its own identity and only the access it is granted, on Plus (1 agent), Pro (3) and Supporter (3), and organizations on Workplace and Enterprise can run their own agents. Every plan, free included, can connect AI apps (Claude, ChatGPT class) directly, and the allowance climbs with the plan: Free 1, Plus 2, Pro 5, Supporter 10, org Community 1, Foundation 2, Workplace 5, Enterprise 10.

- **Splats**: Visual workspaces that organize your team's digital resources. Unlimited on all plans.
- **Droplets**: Modular content blocks — notes (rich text with checklists), links/resources, collections (group droplets together), carousels, polls (with advanced options on Pro+), chat boxes (threaded conversations with reactions), calendars (ICS/webcal aggregation, Plus and up), drawings, files, pictures, and search widgets. Documents (long-form pages with real-time collaborative editing, beta) are available on every paid plan. Supporter-only beta droplets: events (RSVP and shared event page) and embeds (live external interactive content).
- **SplatMap**: Interactive graph visualization showing how your splats and resources connect. Unique to Factsplat.
- **Real-time collaboration**: Multiple users edit simultaneously with live presence indicators via WebSocket channels.
- **AI Assistant**: Built-in AI that can create, update, and organize droplets in your splats. It can also read and change what the SplatMap shows — filter the graph to a subset, focus a single splat, reset the view. Each splat can carry its own AI context, set by its owner, that shapes how the assistant behaves on that splat. Available on all paid tiers except org Community.
- **Sharing**: Invite collaborators, share via public links, or generate QR codes.
- **Organizations**: Manage teams with roles, groups, and admin controls. Sign in with Microsoft, Google, Apple, GitHub or Idrettens ID; Workplace and Enterprise orgs can check which sign-in method their members use.
- **Synced Droplets (beta)**: Place the same droplet in multiple splats — edit once, updates everywhere. Pro, Supporter, Workplace and Enterprise.
- **Modes**: Switch splats between dashboard and workspace views.
- **Mobile apps**: Native iOS app on the App Store. Android beta coming soon.
- **MCP Server**: Machine-readable API for AI agents (Model Context Protocol).
- **Learning hub**: A catalog of 20 short lessons at /explore?tab=learn covering what Factsplat can do, with per-user progress tracking. Available to signed-in users on every tier, including free.
- **Icons**: A library of 350+ icons with AI suggestions, on paid plans. Link (resource) droplets can also use a custom image as their icon — uploading one needs a paid plan (it uses the same file-upload allowance), while pasting the web address of an image that is already online works on the free plan too.

- **Free**: Unlimited splats, links, notes (up to 20,000 characters, with fullscreen editing), collections, polls, chat boxes, drawings. Public pages. Share via invites, links, QR codes. One AI app connection.
- **Plus** (39 NOK/month): File uploads, splat colors, 350+ icons, AI assistant, documents (beta), 1 AI agent (beta), 2 AI app connections, SplatMap exploration, calendar droplet.
- **Pro** (69 NOK/month): Everything in Plus + modes, SplatMap editing, synced droplets (beta), more file storage, advanced polls, 3 AI agents (beta), 5 AI app connections.
- **Supporter** (129 NOK/month): Everything in Pro + early access to experimental features (JSON import/export, SplatMap saved views, event and embed droplets), 3 AI agents (beta), 10 AI app connections, supporter lounge.

### Organization Plans (per seat)

- **Foundation** (59 NOK per seat/month): Team splat management, AI assistant, simple access control, one admin, colors and icons, calendar.
- **Workplace** (99 NOK per seat/month): Unlimited admins and groups, AI assistant, synced droplets (beta), basic SSO (check members' sign-in method), partner organizations, advanced calendars, documents (beta), organization-owned AI agents (beta, 3 per organization, managed by admins; members grant each agent access per splat).
- **Enterprise**: Custom pricing. Everything in Workplace, custom integrations, enterprise support.
